Top 10 Tips for Living Alone in Sobriety After loosing a 12 year relationship, I found myself living alone with a 6 month old I had half the time, and deep in my addiction. My alcoholism progressed over the years, but truly came to a head after some relationship struggles and motherhood. I was scared, on my own, and way too smart for my own good. I was so smart, that I never asked for help and continued to tell myself "I got this", "Today is the last day", "Only one more", which as you can imagine, were only lies I continued to tell myself.
